Job description

This is an important position to be part of a Team of engineers developing a new engine technology. This program will use a revolutionary engine design to power a generator to develop clean energy. The Engineer II will be a very important part of influencing the mechanical design. This is an important international program with an outstanding future. The program is fast paced and requires dedication and a strong desire to succeed.
Primary job responsibilities include:
 Develop new type external combustion engine;
 Design and build engine prototype;
 Compile engine specification and write BOM;
 Setup test plan, support test engineer to complete engine tests, analyze and summarize test data;
 Improve engine design, improve engine performance, lead cost reduction effort;

Qualifications
Previous experience in high speed rotating machinery design and qualification. Experienced in design to manufacture (milling and assembly) and design to cost practices. CAD experience is a must. Must have good knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Basic understanding and experience with FEM/FEA (Finite Element Modeling/Analysis) structural analysis including thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluids. Previous engine experience highly desirable. An engineering degree and good spoken and written English language skills required. 5-7 years experience.
