Design Engineer
Duties and responsibilities:
To design assigned shifter system in a way that will ensure operational and technical feasibility of the products, supporting the project teams with the aim of achieving the cost, quality and timing targets established by the company’s management.
Main responsibilities：
To draw the CAD (3D and 2D) design.
To ensure the technical feasibility of the established solutions, taking into account the technical level of the division at the outset of the series.
To cooperate with the tooling technicians and the engineers in the industrial area to perfect the industrialization process, among others.
To ensure efficient customer relationships from a technical point of view, in collaboration with the Italian colleague.
To participate in the product FMEA and process.
To review the design under the supervision of the Italian head quarter.
To efficiently manage product modifications during development.
To collaborate with the Quality dept., analyzing the results of the product’s technical test report and finding technical solutions, if necessary.
To define the key components of the product and participate in selecting suppliers.
To make analysis for special acceptance of the urgent parts on technical side.
To keep close communication and cooperation with Italian colleagues
To be on time to finish working plan.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor or above degree in engineering;
2. More than 3 year experience in Automotive company, experience in gearshifter design will be plus.
3. Familiar with related design software like CAD, UG, CATIA;
4. Familiar with material property;
5. Good English in both spoken and written.
