Position Summary -Support the Group Supplier Compliance Management function in assessing the compliance of suppliers in regard to international and local laws, regulations as well as guidelines in order to mitigate possible risks thereof. Major duties -To plan, prepare, conduct, report and follow-up social compliance audits of ANDRITZ’s suppliers (on-site) with respect to the ANDRITZ Supplier Code of Conduct and Ethics and in accordance with ANDRITZ’s regulations, guidelines and corporate policies. The mentioned tasks have to be handled on a large extent self-dependent and in accordance with required timelines -To complete audit work papers and memorandums by documenting audit tests and findings and to follow-up agreed audit actions -To communicate audit progress and findings by preparing reports and providing information in online meetings -To provide management reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing management information Competence - A Diploma or high level degree in at least one of the following areas: Engineering/Law/Economics/Social Sciences - Mechanical industry working experience - Further commercial, legal and QHSE (quality, health, safety, environment) training preferred - International audit/assessment certificate required (e.g. acc. to. ISO 19011:2011) - SA8000 auditor training preferred - Work experience with Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint) - At least 3 years of experience in social compliance audits field, with good knowledge of SA8000/ISO14001/ISO 45001/C-TPAT/WRAP/BSCI and statutory compliance/labor laws. SA8000 certification and 3rd party auditor experience is preferred - Basic knowledge of cost accounting -Auditing knowledge in Quality Management Systems preferred - Knowledge in international labor standards, human rights & environmental issues etc. - Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally (up to 75% annually) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language; capable of addressing high executive audiences and of opening, closing and summarizing of meetings; - proficiency in a 3rd language desired (e.g. Portuguese, Spanish) - Cultural awareness and sensitivity (e.g. attitude towards discrimination) - Excellent problem solving skills - Good Negotiation skills - Ability to initiate assigned tasks and to work independently - Ability to manage multiple projects - Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with coworkers, managers and clients - Effective organization, communication and team orientation skills - Evaluating conflicting evidence - Willingness to engage with external stakeholders - Investigative approach - Neutral attitude towards management and coworkers - Open-minded and objective - Ability to empathize with all parties - Professionalism and discretion including appropriate attire and demeanor - Professional time management - Integrity and loyalty towards ANDRITZ
