Job Duty & Responsibility
- To make quality control plan and risk analysis for purchased items
- To make on-site inspections including reporting
- Check and approve quality documents by suppliers, i.e. certificate of raw material, dimension inspection report, NDT report, painting report.
- To make explanation to suppliers regarding specifications
- To help supplier solve the problems found on site in cooperation with Valmet other departments
- To find root cause of defect, report it and create corrective action plan in cooperation with supplier
- Support procurement to finish supplier quality claim.
- To help supplier get improvement in quality and sustainability.
- To help suppliers set up working procedure according to Valmet requirements;
- Understands and strictly follows Company’s Rules, Regulations, Policies, Instructions and Procedure to avoid unnecessary conflicts and to reach expected behavior and job performance.
- Have awareness of ISO 9001 & ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 quality system.
- Engage in procurement, project management and project investment related work of hi-tech product & production
Job Requirement & Qualification
- Graduated from secondary school or above, and majored in mechanical or equivalent;
- 5+ years’ experience in a mechanical company, working as an inspector. Experienced in machining and welding part inspections;
- Familiar with raw material, especially different standards: GB/EN/DIN;
- Experienced in measuring technology, especially for using various gauges
- Ready to travel frequently;
- Able to work independently, self-motivated;
- Able to work under pressure;
- Good ability to communicate with suppliers;
- Outgoing and open-minded, willing to self-develop;
- Basic English skills: shall be able to communicate and write in English
- Good computer skills;
