Major Job Responsibilities, KPI, Challenge for the coming 6-12 months:
- Sourcing activities in Asia Pacific for all SAFRAN LS divisions.
- Develop relationship with suppliers in the area.
- Define and deploy the supply chain roadmap
- Lead major transfers to maximize savings
- Act as the main contact window with suppliers executives
- Involve Asian suppliers in group RFQ when suitable
- Support sales team on new programs discussions (Korea; China).
- Accountable for savings
- Team management (3 commodity buyers).
- Organize and lead Steering Asia
- Support Suzhou site development by ensuring local supply chain capability. Support and comply with Suzhou industrial strategy.
- Continue to increase spends in Asia 120 M$ (2017).
- Create contact between potential suppliers and commodities
- Organize Senior Management Meeting (SMM) for major suppliers
- Travel 30% (Korea; Taiwan; China; Singapore).
- Give visibility of SAFRAN LS development to SAFRAN Shanghai IPO.
- Support procurement team in all delivery and quality issues (accountable to OTD and OQD).
- Attend CQPS meeting ensuring local Special Processes are qualified on time.
- Contractual and price negotiations.
- Lead monthly meeting with SAFRAN FINANCE SHANGHAI ensuring P2P compliance.
- Responsible for Purchasing Process PS1 adherence.
Requirements:
1.Master minimum
2.8 years’ experience at a management level is required for this position. Experience in Automotive; Aerospace; Railway.including international purchasing experience and aircraft knowledge (or at worst industrial know how)
3.Chinese and English as mandatory while French can be seen as a plus (but not required)
