What are my responsibilities
The candidate will work as an Application Development Engineer in the technical area of design automation. The candidate will dig out the needs from business units, put forward innovation projects, discuss the projects with customers, and accomplish the projects in time.
- Technology research (literature survey, patent search, product review) in the technology of application design automation.
- Identify business needs from gas turbine component design team, define project charter, and execute the projects with high quality and on time delivery.
- Responsible for application development for component design automation tool.
- Roll out the tools into component design department, trouble shooting and continue improvement of the tools
- Support to define the application design automation technology roadmap
- Coordinate the innovation project collaborating with Universities.
What do I need to qualify for this job
- Master degree and above in mechanical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent
- Excellent C/C++/Python programming skills
- Excellent knowledge of CAD/CAE/CAM system
- Deep knowledge in geometry engine development
- Proficient in NX/OPEN, Ansys ACT development
- Familiar with systematic ideas generation method, solid performance on thinking out of box and problem solving
- Good communication skills, fluent in both Chinese and English.
- Knowledge of mechanical design is a plus
