--This position will support the Local & global sourcing activities, which includes supplier visits and audits and define the part approval process. Use quality engineering and metrology knowledge to improve BTU’s supplier base and develop quality plans for suppliers to improve their cost, quality and delivery.

--Lead Supplier qualification program with Purchasing, Manufacturing engineering and Material dept.

--Develop qualification and inspection criteria for new sourcing components.
对新采购的零件进行认证开发和检验标准的制定。
--Apply Quality Engineering knowledge to provide Technical Evaluations and problem solving using the Advanced Quality planning tools. Ie. PFMEA’s, PPAP, R & R studies, Process Capability Studies, etc.
运用质量工程知识提供技术评估和解决问题，并能运用高级质量策划工具，例如：过程失效模式分析，生产件首样承认程序；量具的再现性和重复性研究；过程能力分析等等。
--Evaluate and conduct "process", "product" and "quality systems" audits with the internal and external supply base in order to develop and implement Quality Plans and methods that will ensure suppliers are capable of meeting BTU’s expectations.
针对供应商或者内部进行评估或者执行“过程”，“产品”和“质量系统”的审核，以开发和执行质量计划和其他能够帮助供应商满足BTU要求的方法。
--Track the Quality performance of assigned internal and external Suppliers and commodities. Initiate Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement Plans (CIPs).

--Identify and support productivity and process improvements within the Supplier Quality business process. Lead and support initiatives for continuous improvement.

--Conducts training on Quality Engineering and Inspection methods, concepts and tools.
能够进行质量工程和检验方法，理念和工具的培训。
--Demonstrate knowledge of ISO 9000, Supplier Quality Auditing Practices, and Quality Systems.
精通ISO 9000, 供应商质量审核和质量系统知识。
--Apply strong knowledge of metrology, manufacturing and quality control standards and procedures.

--Familiarity with Sheet Metal fabrication, Machining and Cable harness etc. desired.

--Typically 3-5 years of varied quality, production, or design engineering related experience in an electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing industry.

--Familiar with GD&T and national Metrology Standard.

--Good computer skill & Problem solving skills.

--Must be able to read blueprints and take engineering specifications to become inspection criteria.

--A minimum of 7 years above professional experience as a Supplier Quality engineer.
